A direct chip liquid cold plate is the core component of a liquid cooling system.Throughout the liquid cooling system, the liquid cold plate is in direct contact with the heat source (CPU, GPU, and other hardware) and transfers the heat from the heat source to the outside air or cooling unit through water or other coolants.Liquid cold plates are usually made of metal (mainly copper or aluminum) and will have micro-channels inside the cold plate to improve the heat dissipation ability of the cold plate. Lori CPU Cold Plate is suitable for server racks with Intel, AMD, and other various CPU sockets.Inside the cold plate are micro-channels formed by fins of different thicknesses and spacing to increase the flow rate of coolant and improve heat dissipation efficiency.The cold plate is capable of connecting to quick disconnects (QDs) and tubes for plug-and-play, easy installation.Upon request, Lori CPU liquid cold plates can also be customized with dual channel cold plates.
