What Is A Direct Chip Liquid Cold Plate?

A direct chip liquid cold plate is the core component of a liquid cooling system.Throughout the liquid cooling system, the liquid cold plate is in direct contact with the heat source (CPU, GPU, and other hardware) and transfers the heat from the heat source to the outside air or cooling unit through water or other coolants.Liquid cold plates are usually made of metal (mainly copper or aluminum) and will have micro-channels inside the cold plate to improve the heat dissipation ability of the cold plate.
